The success of any roofing project - from preparing for a new roof to restoring an existing one - depends on the right solution.

At Signature, we provide a full line of reinforced roof systems that are specially formulated to take care of virtually any roofing issue. You can count on our approved applicators to build quality into every layer, using materials made by the leading manufacturer of roof coatings.

Benefits of Choosing a Roof Coating System

  • Keeps Your Building Cooler. A roof with a white or reflective coating will not absorb the sun's rays; it will reflect them, which could help reduce your cooling bill.

  • It's considered roof maintenance and sometimes can be written off at the end of the year.

  • No "tear-off" needed, so no worry about asbestos risks.

  • Reduces Energy Consumption.

  • Improves Green Reputation.

  • Protects Against Roof Leaks.

  • Extends The Life Of Your Roof.

  • Improves roof appearance.

  • Reduces maintenance and repairs.

Fluid Applied Reinforced Roofing (FARR) Systems for "FARR" Higher Performance

Our FARR systems are reinforced with tough layers of polyester fabric. Like rebar is to concrete, polyester adds stability and increases the longevity and redundancy of your roofing project.

Lightweight yet extremely tough, Signature's FAR systems are applied directly over existing roofing systems or as a new membrane on new contruction. Each system is customized to hug the roof's angles and curves, like a fine sports car hugs the road.

The safe installation FAR process protects employees and building tenants:

  • No VOC's

  • Non-invasive installation with minimal noise

  • No fire hazards

  • Environmentally friendly

  • Water-based, non-toxic systems

Over the past decade or two, liquid spray-applied roofing membranes have been one of the fastest-growing roofing systems in North America and Europe.  This type of system can extend the life of a roof by decades and requires just a fraction of the time, effort, and cost compared to tear-out and replacement.

Imagine installing a tough, rubber-like roof membrane in just hours, with no smelly hot tar kettles and no messy tear-out, with a self-flashing and seamless material. Liquid roofing can be applied over most substrates, including metal, concrete, and even existing roofing materials, including bitumen and asphalt, on flat, low-slope, and domed roofs.

According to the Roof Coating Manufacturer Association (RCMA):

“Liquid roofing involves the application of a monolithic, fully bonded, liquid-based coating to a roof. The coating cures to form a rubber-like elastomeric waterproof membrane, capable of stretching and returning to its original shape without damage. Such coating systems are usually reinforced with secondary materials such as glass-reinforced plastic for additional tensile strength.”

Liquid-applied coatings are a great solution.  For instance, they were used to restore the Superdome's roof in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
